Personal devotion is the daily practice of seeking God through prayer and reading His word. While faithful participation in weekend services plays a vital role in feeding, growing and sustaining our spiritual life, personal devotion takes it beyond the weekend and into our everyday lives.

Establishing a consistent, daily time for this will be a catalyst for God’s power and provision in your life. And it doesn’t have to take a long time. For most people it’s ten to twenty minutes a day. Explore what works for you; and know that it looks different for everyone. The important thing is setting aside this time for you to grow in your relationship with God.

To help you in your daily devotion, we’ve prepared the Celebration Church reading plan. This plan includes about a chapter of reading per day, and goes through the entire Bible in three years. Today is the perfect day to get started developing your personal devotion.
